Escher’s works have been exhibited in many occasions throughout the years. His peculiar vision of the world and art, his perspective, his imagination and his masterful touch, have raised the interest of many people around the world.

To celebrate the centenary of M.C.Escher's birthday, several commemorative exhibitions were held in museums worldwide: USA, Brazil, Mexico, Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Britain, China, Greece, Italy, Argentina, Canada, Netherlands and Peru. The first and most important was the one organized by the National Gallery of Art in Washington, which reached 300,000 visitors in 6 months.
